Today is December 1st and today marks a full month of the holiday season. This season means many different things for different people. But I think we can all agree it is truly the season for giving. For hope. For love.
Arlington Cemetery is the greatest place I have ever visited in the United States of America. The most sacred ground we have. So when I read that they are expecting to be 30,000 Christmas wreaths short this season for our fallen soldiers (that was the # two weeks ago) … that dug at me real bad. We all have seen those images of those Christmas wreaths on those stones. It is a symbol of Christmas but it is a small token to say just another thank you to our men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
So if you want to do something this season for someone. If your heart is moved to honor our fallen soldiers, please consider donating a wreath to lay at their final resting place this Christmas. It is $15.00 per wreath.
I’m sure the families would be forever grateful too.
Remember. Honor. Teach.
