Summer Green Thumb Vol. 3

Time for #3 blog post of the year for my gardens. We have had a HOT summer so far. Welcome to the South! So extra watering and sometimes twice a day for all my plants. Another photo journey…

My lemon colored dahlia that comes back each year. Very pretty bloom.

Prolly one of my favorite planters of the season. Verbena, lantana, violas and pansies all mixed in together. I just love the shades of peach, orange and salmon colors with my teal horse pot.

My favorite thing about a garden (besides eating the goods!) is always watching how each vegetable starts off.  A pretty bloom. Cucumber and watermelon.

Black bird on one of my feeders. I haven’t photographed the birds as much as I normally would. Love watching them. Even black birds.
